Home Improvement PRojects
Today, Saturday, was one of the first times in many months when we were home and able to do normal chores. We finished a few projects in Sarah's room and then took down the Christmas tree, decorations and lights. It felt good just to do some of those normal things.
Ilene and I stated the day off putting some plans together for 2012. It has been a long time since we have been on a marriage retreat (we used to go every year), and we wanted to try and get our year a little more organize than last years ended up.
Yesterday, Josh's platelet count was really low, so we drove into Amarillo for a transfusion. He has continued to feel pretty good since finishing chemo, but this morning he woke up with an upset stomach and then this afternoon he started feeling crummy.
He is starting to look pale and his lips are losing their color, so we set up blood draw for tomorrow morning. He is not running a fever, but said that he feels wiped out like when the chemo wipes out his blood cell.
Keep us in your prayers, we are praying that we can stay healthy.

We continue to pray for a healing hand on Josh & a return to a "new" normal for the Walton family. Sending hugs your way.....Ed, Shelley & Faith Ramsey
