Fever

Last night at around 8pm Josh started running a fever. He had looked tired all day. He was trying to hide how he felt because he wants to go home, but when we asked the nurse to check his temperature, it was 101. They took a blood culture to see if he has an infection. There is chance that the fever is from the chemo.

They also started him on antibiotics, just in case there is and infection. They will watch the blood culture for 5 days. He is still running a fever this morning of 101 and has a sore throat. They could both be a reaction from the chemo.

If he has an infection they may need to keep him here until the infection is gone.

Keep us in your prayers. We were all hoping to be headed home but this may delay our departure for a few days. Pray that Josh won't get discouraged.

Thank you for your prayers and care packages and cards. Josh has pictures and posters hung all over his room. We'll get more pictures of them later today.
