Learning Patience

Josh's blood count numbers are still low this morning and although they have not seen any positive results from his blood culture (meaning no infection found) he still has a low grade fever (99 degrees) which is an expected side effect of the chemo.

We are waiting to hear from the doctor about what needs to happen to get him released. They want to be careful not to release him before his body can fight off infection on its own.

This is were it becomes a day to day journey. Josh still does not have an appetite. Please pray that he will begin to eat more so that his body can begin to produce the white blood cells that he needs.

We know that God is in charge and that He wants us to turn our hearts toward Him.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

  1. Josh, I am in College Station with my son, Thomas, who is getting ready to be a counselor at a Christian camp for new freshman at A&M called "Impact." Thomas is going to ask the campers to pray for you. I am an alum of Texas Tech and UT, so I like to poke fun at Aggies, but they really are pretty good kids :)

I am praying that you will be on your way home ASAP!!
